Korean Air have recently send advisory of their updated airline ticket seat sale to Southeast Asia including Manila and Cebu for departures starting Sep. 8 to Nov. 30, 2011.
A few days in December was also included in this seat sale but the issue is – if you’re returning on the first three weeks of January 2012, chances of finding an available cheap economy seat is almost impossible.
If you are decided to leave in December (valid for Dec. 1-9, 2011 departure) and is coming back February 2012 and beyond, then this offer is something that you must not pass up.
The good news is that the cheapest airline economy seat being offered by Korean Air is valid for 1 year for this special.
The lowest priced economy seat, if available, for travel to Manila in September that we found is $1,385. For travel to Bangkok, Saigon and Phnom Penh on the same month we found the cheapest price same with Manila at $1,385. Airline tickets to Cebu is $1,435.
Here are some pricing ideas we found while searching for the cheapest airfare ticket month by month:
Travel period: September – $1,385 to Manila, Phnom Penh, Saigon or Bangkok. Ticket priced the same for travel to Taipei and Singapore. Included departure date is from Sep. 8-30, 2011.
Travel period: October – $1,385 to Manila, Hanoi, Phnom Penh, Saigon or Bangkok. Ticket priced the same for travel to Taipei and Singapore. Included departure date is from Oct. 1-31, 2011.
Travel period: November – $1,385 to Manila, Saigon, Taipei, Hanoi, Phnom Penh or Bangkok. Ticket priced the same for travel to Singapore. Included departure date is from Nov. 1-30, 2011.
We have not included December in the list but if you are flexible on your return, then call us because there are still some available seats for the December departure (between Dec. 1-9, 2011 only). As well, be prepared to be flexible on your return for other substitute dates just in case the cheapest airline economy seat included in this special is not already available for your desired date.

@Faith – that’s going to be really expensive because your return date is fully booked ($1,800+). Can you adjust your itinerary to a different day to avail of a cheaper airfare? Or you can phone if you’re willing to purchase even at a higher price. Thanks.
Is the price of $1385 from Toronto to Manila (departure 30 Nov 2011, return 10 June 2012) inclusive of taxes? Is this in US or Canadian dollars?
@Ninky – Nov. 30 departure is fully booked for the cheapest economy seat, so it would be priced higher if you are not flexible in moving the date. Call us for alternate dates. All our pricing is in CAD unless specified.

@Gladys – if you can go via the US, I found something Sep 25 to Jan 23 for only $970 return taxes included. Be warned though that US airlines will not refund your money if you miss your flight or decided to cancel it. And you need a US visa or msut be a Canadian passport holder.
With Cathay its $1,460 taxes included on the same date. Call if you’re interested.

@Elizabeth – the cheapest I found is via the US at $1,875. If that’s not to your liking, then be flexible on your dates because Dec-Jan is really busy.
@Che – As of today, it is still available but you better hurry to buy because the seat sale may be cancelled anytime without notice.
